Industrial waste heat in liquid media is not only a by-product of industrial processes, but also a valuable source of energy. Modern companies go beyond mere production optimization and use innovative technologies to recover heat from industrial waste heat.

This sustainable method reduces CO2 emissions, lowers energy costs and makes an important contribution to the energy transition. Through the use of heat pumps, the temperature of the cooling medium can be raised to a level that can be used to supply heat (including to residential areas or entire urban districts) and industrial processes.

The build-up of undissolved inorganic salts and organic substances or debris not only reduce heat transfer efficiency, but also lead to more frequent maintenance and breakdowns, which can drive up your operating costs.

The choice of the right materials for heat exchangers, the correct dimensioning of the systems and the use of special cleaning and pre-treatment processes are therefore crucial in order to minimize the formation of deposits and extend the service life of the systems. In addition, the specific process conditions, such as the temperature and chemical composition of the heat source, must be analyzed in detail.

Strainer sections with fixed or backwashable strainers as part of the evaporator cleaning system using the TAPROGGE process ensure reliable and permanent prevention of microfouling in the evaporator/heat exchanger tubes. The heat transfer coefficient remains comparable to that of a new system when the tubes are smooth on the inside.
